The Scouting Division encompasses traditional scouting, tracking, and reconnaissance work, along with more espionage-focused tasks like surveillance, intelligence-gathering, and cryptography. Their overarching goal is make sure that whatever the Inquisition wants to do next, they have the information they need to pursue it as efficiently, safely, and successfully as possible.

Assignment: Scouting the Wounded Coast.

While Adasse scouts the Wounded Coast, he will hear a ghastly wailing coming from one of the tucked away campsites. If he investigates, he'll discover that this wailing is nothing more than a distressed woman traveling to Kirkwall, whose cat has managed to get caught in a nearby tree. She will then tearfully request that Adasse help her.

If he does, Adasse will be rewarded with a lot of cat fur all over his clothes, and a delicious scone from the thankful woman. If he refuses, he'll discover the woman is actually a blood mage, and agitated by his refusal, will promptly attempt to attack him. Whoops.
