In addition to being dangerous to civilians, red lyrium allows Corypheus to control or influence those it infects and to augment the abilities of his forces. Red lyrium is currently being cultivated in the Sunless Lands and has been sighted growing in darkspawn in the Anderfels. The Inquisition needs to stop its spread and prevent Corypheus from continuing to use it as a weapon.

CURRENT WORK: Has largely focused on observation, including microscopic observation, of red lyrium. Helped make connection that lyrium is "alive," at least after a fashion, as is currently most concerned with identifying how Blight is transmitted (to lyrium and generally).
