In addition to being dangerous to civilians, red lyrium allows Corypheus to control or influence those it infects and to augment the abilities of his forces. Red lyrium is currently being cultivated in the Sunless Lands and has been sighted growing in darkspawn in the Anderfels. The Inquisition needs to stop its spread and prevent Corypheus from continuing to use it as a weapon.

NAME: Kain Ventfort

SKILLS & EXPERTISE: Kain's primary role will be in the fighting side of things rather than research, whether it's going after red templars and affiliated types, or destroying red lyrium. He can also take on guard duties when out in the field. He's got a personal interest in fighting this stuff, so he'll be all for learning how to best combat it from a fighter perspective.
