DIVISION: Research
DIVISION

RESEARCH
The Research Division houses a diverse variety of Inquisition efforts both magical and mundane, investigating things Inquisition agents encounter in their missions and experimenting with innovative methods to assist them. This may include anything from identifying and classifying new medicinal plants to preserving ancient manuscripts to inventing new types of magical grenades, and everything in between.

Proposal 2.
My second proposal has to do with visiting the sights of the largest and first Rift, the Temple of Sacred Ashes. I am not sure what might be left there, but I believe it to be important to see what state the Veil is in that area after so many months, and if our efforts have strengthened or weakened what the Herald repaired. I would bring a small team with me, and we would stay a few days to get the lay of the land and do some tests to see if the Veil was thinner or had been repaired completely, or if it is still just put together with spit and thread, so to speak.
If this provides successful, I'd want to travel to where other larger Rifts had also been experienced, to see what effect they had had on the area, in regards to demons, spirits, and the calling of darker magics. Some places I would like to investigate would be Crestwood, Redcliffe Castle (if we can get permission from Queen Anora, of course), and the ruins of Adamant Fortress (if we can get the permission of the Empress). I think it would give us greater understanding, and perhaps give us clues to give greater control of the Rifts to the Rifters, by doing further investigations into these areas.
Sincerely,
Mal Draco
