The Scouting Division encompasses traditional scouting, tracking, and reconnaissance work, along with more espionage-focused tasks like surveillance, intelligence-gathering, and cryptography. Their overarching goal is make sure that whatever the Inquisition wants to do next, they have the information they need to pursue it as efficiently, safely, and successfully as possible.

Assignment: Scouting Planasae Forest.

While scouting the forest in question, Kostos will come across a group of mages in a makeshift camp city. If he investigates, he'll find that they appear to be harmless, having chosen to stay away from civilization while the war was still uncertain. They are, however, incredibly annoying, and prone to launching into telling Kostos the singularly most boring stories imaginable. Did you want to know how to grow and harvest moss as a food source?
