Assignment - The Maltese Rabbit

Information: An extremely minor Orlesian noble has been holding salons in order to display prominently his "ancient elven artifact," a sculpture of a humanoid figure with mixed elven and bird-like features which he purports to hold ancient and mysterious secrets within its clay.

Task: Discover the details about this artifact and make enquiries into its acquisition for the Inquisition, if it be worthwhile.

Assignment - Mary Hunting

Information: A Ferelden businesswoman and housewife occupied in the unremarkable business of selling seashells and curiosities near Amarantine to suppliment her household income has recently begun selling what she claims to be genuine artifacts from an ancient elven tomb. Although her claims are extraordinary, her finds and architectural descriptions are detailed and accurate enough to warrant further investigation. Unfortunately, the exact location and means of access to the source of the woman's stock are information she is naturaly reluctant to divulge, these representing a portion of her livelihood.

Task: Go to the location indicated and, whether by diplomacy, bribery, or other methods, discover the location of the purported "ancient elven tomb" and report back on its contents, location, and acquisition of any likely artifacts for the Inquisition's purposes.

Assignment - Best Served Old

Information: A group of Orlesians have recently been making a small fad of exhuming ancient elven mummies for the purposes of powdering the remains and using them as a food additive. The list of claimed benefits to the imbiber of said powder is as lengthy as it is dubious, and includes miraculous cures for various untreatable and embarrassing maladies.

Task: Non-violently convince these idiot nobles that eating thousands-of-years-old corpses will not magically cure diseases.

Assignment - Salem? I Hardly Know 'Em!

Information: A small Orlesian town at the edge of the former Dales is said to be built atop the ruins of an "ancient elven burial ground," and what sources we have indicates that it is built at the site of a similarly-sized Dalish town which existed before the Orlesian annexation of the Dales. The residents have issued a public declaration that this is not so, and there are certainly no elven burial grounds, or towns, or indeed any elves in this town. It is a nice town and we are nice, normal people, how dare you. Despite this, rumors of magical maladies, widespread stillbirths, and ancient elven burial ground curses are impossible to quell. Everyone in the town is Dursley-level unpleasant, whether they are willing to chat about a curse or otherwise.

Task: Go to said town and speak to the residents, discover whether there truly is an elven artifact at the heart of the town's malaise, and acquire it for the Inquisition.

Assignment - Tom Braider

Information: News of a trio of quote-unquote "archaeologists" has recently reached the Inquisition, though the term tomb robber is more accurate. Their methods are crude and mostly seem to be focused on their own gain at the expense of the integrity of the ruins they leave behind, but rumour has it their sponsor is Tevinter and they're robbing ancient elven ruins for more than just profit.

Task: Track down Tom Braider, Laurence Craufte, and Henri Johannes Jr. and, through whatever means necessary, divine the truth of their sponsor's interests in ancient elves. If possible, discourage them from their line of work.
