SUBJECT: The Ghislain Circle (War Table Assignment) PARTICIPANTS: Coupe + Thor, Fingon, Gareth, Kostos DATE FILED: 11/10 STATUS: Ongoing SUMMARY: A small team investigated the abandoned Ghislain Circle, to recover artifacts and investigate its potential use in the upcoming battle. They decided to trap it. They also returned word of a dead Chantry sister, dispatched an Arcane Horror, and recovered various items for the Inquisition.
REPORT:
To whomever will inevitably succeed me, or Voss:
There is little purpose in filing this for myself. Such is the nature of bureaucracy.
I could describe the structural instability of a lower floor of the Circle, and its limited damage to others. I could assure any future readers that the few corpses (animate and otherwise) have been dealt with, or I might enumerate the artifacts recovered.
But rather: How is your day going, Knight-Enchanter? We do not speak enough in a personal manner — or so I am certain that your friend de Vivas would insist. Enchanter Averesch would insist upon the opposite, but he demonstrated remarkable restraint in not pulling the bloody stones out by hand. I trust we've all gotten that out of our system.
We are making arrangements to lay the thing full of traps; if civilians are diverted, ensure it be by another route. I will inform the Comte (the cat is now out of that bag), that we've no unfortunate decisions to move troops within.
I am remaining in Ghislain to oversee preparations. Until you join us, you've command. I would take it as a kindness that you not knock off our own fortress.
