If you’re interested in any of these, respond with the form at the bottom by February 15. The first two are things that need to happen soon, the other two can be delayed if no one is interested or has time right now.
MISSION: ANDERFELS SURVEILLANCE WHAT: We have more questions than answers about the situation in the Anderfels, so a team will be sent to do some high-level surveillance. And by high-level, I mean please take some griffons. Objectives include locating and getting a head count on the demon army, if it still exists; identifying any other obvious military force or activity; and gathering news and information from the locals in the border towns. WHERE: Hunterhorn Mountains. WHEN: Before Drakonis 15. WHO: 3-4 Northern Powers project members, who can each bring a Plus One from their CR as long as it makes sense IC. Desired skills include the Ander language, griffon riding, acting, sneakiness, survival/camping, and familiarity with the region.
ASSIGNMENT: INQUIRY OBSERVATION WHAT: The Pentaghasts are conducting an inquiry into Nevarra’s second-most powerful family, the Van Markhams. The Inquisition will be invited to send delegates to be impartial observers of the process and outcome—presumably because the Pentaghasts want someone to back them up and tell everyone else it was fair. The delegates will go observe, then report back to group so they and decide with the Diplomacy Division how to move forward. WHERE: Nevarra City. WHEN: Before Drakonis 15. WHO: 1-2 Northern Powers people, who can have a Plus One or Plus Two as long as it makes sense. Must have manners good enough to spend several days in a foreign court.
ASSIGNMENT: TRACK SMUGGLERS WHAT: Trace leads on red lyrium and slave smuggling through the streets of Rivain and Antiva until you find a slaver who will be willing to talk if you break enough fingers. WHERE: Rivain and Antiva. WHEN: Sometime in Drakonis. WHO: 1-2 Northern Powers people, who can have a Plus One or Plus Two as long as it makes sense. Ability to navigate seedy underbellies and punch people until they start talking.
ASSIGNMENT: PARTY IN PERIVANTIUM WHAT: New-money Laetan mages with no interest in maintaining the current social order and a reputation for courting scandal and curiosities have extended an invitation to the Inquisition to attend one of their gatherings. Go make a good impression and don’t lose your temper over the use of slaves, and maybe the Inquisition will have some new allies in Tevinter. WHERE: Tevinter. WHEN: Sometime in Drakonis. WHO: 1-2 Northern Powers people, who can have a Plus One or Plus Two as long as it makes sense. Mages who usually have to stay in the background at fancy parties can show off this time. Must be able to not punch slaveowners in the face.
